The
3C Marketing Model
for Any Type
of Brand
Have you heard of my 3C Marketing Model?
Of course, you haven’t! It has been internal with all my website and online brand activities. It has been a nameless practice that I’ve used all these years to bring success to my online brands.
But why not share my practice with you so that you, too, can have marketing success?
So, that is why I am writing this article.
I want to show you how I market my websites, brands, and social pages to achieve a successful and ideal result.
And I’m calling it the 3C Marketing Model. Each of the three C represents Content, Consistency, and Community.
Let’s dig into it a little deeper!
3C Marketing Model – Content
Has anyone ever told you that content is king?
Of course, they have! That has been drilled into my head since I got into all this stuff over twenty years ago!
Content will always be king.
Content is the cornerstone of what you’re trying to accomplish with a website, brand, business, or creative online. With content, you will have nothing as a result because it is what makes something from nothing.
You will have to be a content producer or have someone on your team to create content, or it will not work in the end.
But content isn’t just something you write and release.
There is more to it.
Way more!
Content needs to be information that will tap into the emotions of the user getting it. No matter what type of content it is, it needs to leave the end user with an emotional change due to them taking it in.
There are many ways that you can create content. You can write a blog post like this one. You can take photos and tell a story with them. You can create video content. You can create audio content through podcasting. The primary forms of content will be text-based, visual, and audio.
I’ve written about it before; Everything Can Be Content if you change how you think about things.
But even if everything can become content – it doesn’t mean the content will sell.
Emotional content is the mission. You want the content to tap into the emotion of the reader, watcher, or listener. They need to get emotional satisfaction from the content after consuming it. This could be good satisfaction or bad satisfaction. Good as in learning something new or laughing about something funny. Bad as in becoming angered about a current event or being fearful about not doing something the right way.
Every type of emotional element can be in some way beneficial for the content creator.
To simplify this step – create the best content you can make and make it in a way that targets the emotional response of those consuming your content.
3C Marketing Model: Consistency
If the content is king, consistency is the queen!
Consistency.
Creating the best content that will target emotional consumption is ideal.
But creating that content once and then never doing it again isn’t going to result in a happy ending.
You have to create the best content possible to really win consistently. Someone is always going to try to make their content better than you. This will especially happen when you start ranking higher in search results because that rank is and will always be a competition for content creators.
To be on top, you must create the best content as much as possible.
Consistency is part quality and quantity when you think deeply about it.
The content you consistently create needs to be of the best quality possible. I explained this tactic in the Content phase of the 3C Marketing Model.
The other part is quantity. You must publish content to a certain rhythm to be considered consistent. For example, I post one blog article for this blog once a week, on Thursdays, and at 10:00 AM CST every single week. That is the quantity portion of being Consistent. I aim to deliver you the best possible content I can – that is the quality portion of this method.
Consistency doesn’t mean you have to publish every day. But you should always put daily publishing as a goal to eventually meet. I hope to one day post a new article on this blog every single day. This will give my blog a better chance of ranking high on search engines. This will boost popularity by giving loyal readers something new each day. This will help me gain more advertising revenue. Daily publishing will ultimately give you a positive result in the end.
But don’t feel like you need to start by posting every day because you might burn yourself out quicker than you can make new content.
Start slow, get a feel for your styles, and gradually increase in time. Starting slow will allow you to create a consistent calendar, if you will. You’ll know when to publish your content. As you increase the flow of content, you can change your calendar.
So, we’ve gone over the need to make the best possible content that you can make. And we’ve just finished the ideology of being consistent about creating that best content. Now let’s move on to Community!
3C Marketing Model: Community
So, what is left to continue our idea that Content is King and Consistency is Queen?
Community is the kingdom that keeps the king and queen in power. Without the kingdom, the king and queen will fall.
Without community, content and consistency will not work.
Your community is your social followers, customers, clients, networks, and those who consume your content that is delivered to them consistently. Without your community, there is no reason to be consistent because there would be no reason to create content.
The Community might as well be the most essential component of the 3C Marketing Model.
You should be working to develop, nurture, and evolve your community each time you create new content consistently because the community is what makes the objectives and goals become a reality with any website, brand, business, or influencer niche.
So, all content strategies must be aimed at a community. All consistency strategies must be aimed at a community. A community is those who engage with those who consume your stuff.
Engage, engage, and engage some more.
Never stop engaging!
Your content should paint an engagement picture. It should make your consumers want to engage with you.
That is how you win with a community.
But creating and maintaining a community isn’t that simple. You must build your reputation up as an expert authority in your niche. That is where consistently made content comes into play.
Then you need to engage with the community and build trust.
Always engage with the community every day that you can.
Even on your days off…
And that is my simple formula for the 3C Marketing Model. Follow the easy steps above to help your brand, business, or market stand out and rank higher.
