Blogging with AIDA?
You Should Be!
You should be blogging with AIDA every chance you get. It can make readers of your blog posts more interested in what you have to say.
Copywriting and marketing persuasion methods were created to help create a hook for your audience to attach to after reading your content. If you’re using these methods, you have a better chance of keeping readers on your content. The best way to use this method is by blogging with AIDA or Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action (A.I.D.A.).
I’ve been using this in most of my blog posts, and because of it, I’ve seen significant increases in readership.
If you’re ready to learn how to use this on your blog to gain more readers and subscribers, then you should continue reading this article.
Blogging with AIDA: Awareness
Awareness is an essential aspect of blogging. You need to make your readers aware of the topic you’re trying to post about. They should know immediately what your blog is about in the first section of your post.
Many blog readers will lose interest quickly if you don’t get to the point soon. Many bloggers make this mistake. Awareness of the subject is critical because that is usually what The reader has searched for upon discovering your article.
If I can’t figure out what a blog will be about in the article’s first few sentences, I will usually hit the back bottom shortly after that. I don’t want to waste my time on an article that is having trouble getting the point and giving me something new the think about.
So, before you publish or schedule your article, make sure the beginning of it defines to the reader what it will be about rather than making them dig for an answer.
Blogging with AIDA: Interest
The interest portion of the AIDA blogging model is the second portion of your section, and it defines why someone should be interested in the topic you’re writing about.
After you have created a hook with the awareness function when blogging AIDA, it is time to keep the interest going of the reader. The interest portion is merely a process of weighing down the hook and ensuring the reader stays focused on your topic. It is good to try to remain factual with your interest section. The idea is to keep the reader interested in the end.
I am usually interested in a topic when after I identify what it is about, it gives me some detail of how it will benefit me and what I am trying to accomplish with my content. I’m sure your objectives relate to my own in this sense.
Just make sure that you are integrating interest in the blog post that you are creating. This will ensure that you keep your readers continuing to read after the hook has done its job.
Blogging with AIDA: Desire
Desire is an essential function of the process of blogging with AIDA. It creates a story that the reader can relate to so they can desire to learn more about the topic by continuing to read your blog post.
When blogging, it is important to be personal and to tell a story. Personal relations and storytelling are the only way your audience can truly relate to the topic or subject that your blog is about. It is vital that you give a personal example and tell and story.
Throughout my entire blogging career, I have relied on the stories of others to learn from them and try to relate my own life with them. After all, I’m a human like you, and I need my fellow humans to set an excellent example of how I wish to be.
So, be sure you are getting personal with your readers and telling them a story from time to time as you create your content.
Blogging with AIDA: Action
And finally, there is action. Action is the call-to-action side of your blog. It is the portion you use to encourage the reader to do something after reading what you have to say.
The action, otherwise known as the call-to-action, is what you will use to convert a reader into a customer. It is what you will use to gain a new email subscriber. You will use an action to get a reader to share your content, check out another article, or even comment on the one they just read. As a blogger, you want readers to perform some action.
I try to create actions to get the reader to move on to the next section of each article subject. And then, in the end, my call to action is to get the reader to share my writing with others.
Make sure that you’ve integrated some kind of action into your post, whether it’s to read something in addition, buy something, or subscribe to your mailing list.
And that is the end of my advice for blogging with AIDA. The AIDA concept can help you get more readers while also helping to keep the readers reading more of each article you publish.
AIDA is a method that has been used in marketing and copywriting for many years. It works. It is easy to use. And it makes the content you create more exciting and creative.
If you notice in each section of this article, there are four different sections. I’ve been blogging with AIDA throughout this entire article. If you’re reading this part of the article, then my using the framework has worked out in the end.
And if it has worked for you, then I think you should share it with others. Send your colleges a link to this article so they can also start blogging with AIDA.
