Challenge
Your
Marketing Skills
Fifteen years ago, it was easy for me to get new members on my community.
In 2022, it isn’t that easy.
Everyone has converted to social media. And once you convert to social media, you don’t want to go back to forums for the most part.
But not everyone is into social media as much as they are into forums.
I’m heavily invested in social media, but I also invest in my communities.
On social media, the community is so divided and sporadic.
On a forum, the community is tight-knit, and people usually care a lot about one another.
But communities aren’t easy to grow in 2022. Not like they were 15 years ago.
But I don’t enjoy turning down a challenge.
So, if I want to challenge my marketing skills, I need to market my community and grow its membership. If I can do that, I can do just about anything in the online community development realm.
So, that’s what I’m doing.
I’m challenging myself to grow my forum in 2023 and reach successful marketing goals.
