If you’re using the PAS strategy for example, you’ll want to present your problem, agitate your reader, and then provide the affiliate link as the solution. You want your reader to be in a taking action or buying mood when they get to the link.

Make sure that you disclose the fact that you are including affiliate links. In most cases, it’s the law that you do so. You should also do it to build trust with your audience.

Try to automate the sales and delivery process as much as possible. The less you have to do, the better. Passive income works better when you have to do very little.

In some cases and niches, print-on-demand merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers, and other products can provide some passive income for your blog.

There are many print-on-demand services out there. Some of the better known services include Printful and Spring. The way it works is you design the products and setup your store. You pay nothing for a basic store. When someone buys the product, the services takes the transaction, prints and ships the products and you earn a commission. You can usually set the profit margin that you get.

Create products like clothing, cups and mugs, mousepads, and stationary items with your blog brand and logo attached to it.

You’ll want to promote these products everywhere you can. Promote them on your blog, social media pages, and email lists.

In order to provide merchandise that sells, you’ll want to have a lower cost and because of that, you won’t make as much money. This is definitely not a get rich quick method, but it can still earn you money behind the scenes.

 

Creating and Monetizing a YouTube Channel

YouTube is a great method of earning passive income with your blog.

You can accomplish this by repurposing your blog content and creating YouTube videos with it. Maybe that consists of you merely reading your post on video and cutting it up to make it engaging.

Once you get to a certain number of views and subscribers on YouTube, you can apply to their YouTube Partnership Program. They’ll put AdSense ads against your videos, and you earn commissions based on clicks to your ads.

I love to use Todoist as my To-Do list to help me stay organized. I even use free tools like Google Sheets to maintain a content calendar.
